For this to work, your only job is to get extremely comfortable.
Lay down somewhere comfortable with your legs elevated, either on a chair, on a few pillows, or maybe a leg wedge.
Cover yourself up with a blanket so you're really cozy, put a pillow behind your head, and extra points for an eye pillow or eye cover (a towel over the eyes works too). Close your eyes and let my words guide you as your subconscious mind unravels the pain you're holding on to.
